The supplier offers you the choice between different Hymer camp models, the biggest with sufficient space for up to 6 persons. One of these models is certain to meet the needs of you and your family. If you have another size in mind, the supplier can arrange upon request of additional sizes. All the suppliers motorhomes in Berlin may be driven with a usual international driver's licence.

Equipment of the suppliers Hymer motorhomes
Hymer motorhomes, drive easily and safely. With the suppliers very thorough introduction you become familiar with the vehicle very quickly, and you will be astounded about the perfect outlook from your captain's chair at the traffic around you and how much fun it is to drive a motorhome. Finally, you can depend on the powerful diesel engines which let you move easily up hills. For your convenience the suppliers motorhomes offer the latest in energy systems with a separate energy- and water supply (second battery, propane tanks, tanks for drinking water, gray and black water) so that you are free to enjoy your surroundings and not worry about logistics. Stove, refrigerator, sink, are part of the suppliers regular equipment. The refrigerator runs on propane and electric energy (220V or 12V) , you will also have constant hot water for sink and shower made with a propane water heater. In case of chilly evenings (which are very rare in southern Europe!) the propane heater, together with an air fan, creates cozy warmth. Some of the suppliers motorhomes in Berlin are equipped with motor air condition and mounting kit for bicycles, all motorhomes are equipped with ABS, power steering and awning.

Energi Campers Germany Rental Terms

Definitions and interpretations
The following definitions apply for the Terms and Conditions for Energy Campers Germany.
- The Supplier means the operator of Energy Campers Germany.
- The Client is also referred to as the hirer (s), renter(s) and/or customer(s).

Important information about your rental
On arrival you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the operators of Energy Campers Germany. Here is a summary of the terms and conditions:

Cancellation policy
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
Up to 53 days before rental beginning 15% of the total rental fee.
From 52 up to 33 day before rental beginning 40% of the total rental fee.
From 32 up to 18 day before rental beginning 60% of the total rental fee.
From 17 up to 10 day before rental beginning 80% of the total rental fee.
From 9 up to 1 day or no Show 100 % of the total rental fee.

Payment
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. Payment will be deducted from your nominated credit card at the time of confirmation. The supplier will collect an 20% additional deposit (Minimum charge of 250 EURO). Clients are required to make a bank transfer (the supplier does not accept credit cards). The balance payable is due 21 days prior to pick up. If you book less than 21 days before arrival, the entire rental payable immediately.

Drivers
The renter of a motorhome and all drivers must be at least 22 years old and two years in the possession of a valid driver's license Class B (old driver's licenses Class 3) in turn.

Insurance and deposit
Prices content casco/liability insurance for the vehicle up to the valid legal covering sums. In case of an accident caused by you, in case of theft or other damages there is an amount of 1,200 EURO deductible. This security deposit has to be paid in cash when you pick up the motorhome. When the vehicle is returned without damages the supplier will refund this deposit to you.

Mileage
Daily rates are including 155.3 free miles (250 kilometres). Generally, this mileage is adequate for daily travels.
After the 17th day all miles are free. For extended vacations the supplier offers rebates on individual request. If you rent the car at least for 10 days or more you get all miles free by paying some additional fees. However, if your total rental time exceed 17 days you will get unlimited miles without any extra fees. Once you return the vehicle the supplier will calculate your final bill with the best tariff option.

Check in and check out
Check in time on first day will be at 4 pm; latest check out time on the last day will be at 11 am. Special arrangements are possible. Check in and check out days will count as one day.

Conditions of reservation and payment
With confirmation of the contract there will be due a down payment of 20 percent. Remaining amount is due by check in. At check in there is due a safety deposit of 1,200 Euro which must be paid in cash. When the vehicle is returned without damages the supplier will refund this deposit to you.

Miscellaneous
One client must be at least 22 years old to sign the suppliers contract and possess a valid driving license for cars. International driving licenses are accepted as well. Otherwise all conditions and regulations of the contract, written down in the suppliers general rental conditions are valid.

Optional camping equipment
On request the supplier will offer complete camping equipment for the kitchen (dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc. / 30 Euro), camping furniture (camping table and camping chairs / 30 Euro) and a linen package (towels, bed sheets / 20 Euro per person).

Airport transfer
The supplier offers a shuttle service between the airport of Berlin-Tegel (TXL) and the suppliers rental station for only 50 Euro for both directions in case of arrival / departure time between 7 am and 10 pm, when arrival or departure between 10 pm and 7 am as well as on Sunday and holidays with in each case 25 Euro surcharge.
Vehicle models and prices are subject to change during the season (i.e., substitution with new vehicles).
In addition, the terms agreed in the contract and the suppliers general rental conditions. Model changes during the season (eg replacement with new vehicles) is reserved.
The supplier are also a ADAC agency. With us you can apply for membership of the ADAC. The supplier recommends the suppliers customers the ADAC Plus membership, you also abroad with a rental motorhome excellent protection and provides for extensive help.

Altering a booking
No additional penalties. But when originally booked 14 day, and than changed to 10 day and I cannot rent these 4 day the customer has to pay! With alterations, the entire hire will be recalculated at current rates.

Security bond
The supplier only accepts cash to take security bonds.

Pets
Fee 100 € additional for each pet, only small pets.
And additional deposit for damages from pets 200 €.

Smoking
Absolutely no smoking in the suppliers vehicles.

Areas you can drive
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
